Summary

At Doctors Without Borders (MSF) USA, I worked as a Multimedia Graphic Designer creating visual communications around humanitarian crises, human rights, public health, and social impact journalism. I developed social media graphics, data visualizations, infographics, and campaign assets for an audience of more than 1.3 million supporters, including a post that reached over 10 million views in two weeks.

Process

My process combined research, visual storytelling, and information design with close collaboration across international communications and program teams. I translated complex and sensitive information into accessible visual narratives while navigating feedback, deadlines, and evolving campaign needs. Working across multiple time zones, I balanced consistency within MSF’s global visual language with the distinct communication needs of individual campaigns and audiences.

I developed this flow chart to help my colleagues understand the various stages of a graphic design project.

Social Media Campaigns

I was heavily involved in our social media strategies and campaigns. The graphic on the left shows the slides for an Instagram carousel infographic on humanitarian issues in Gaza. The gallery below shows selected projects from my time at MSF.
