About
Digital Diasporic Directory
Brand Identity, Web Design, Creative Coding
The Digital Diasporic Directory is an altar to the ancestors who have guided us in our ongoing journeys of reconnecting to our motherlands. I conceived it as a bridge between the spiritual and the intellectual; a space where research, ritual, memory, and design coexist. Intended as an introduction for BIPOC beginning or deepening this process of reconnection, the directory gathers readings, practices, archives, and community resources into a living framework.
I developed the project holistically, leading the branding, web design, printed collateral, coding, and curation. Each formal decision, from typography and color to information architecture, was guided by the desire to create something both ceremonial and accessible. In doing so, I treat digital space as a potential sacred space, asking how design can support critical inquiry and collective healing.
